Ditto’s mission…
If you’re wondering what Ditto’s all about, this should help. It’s our grand sounding ‘mission statement’:
”Ditto aims to do for opinion what Wikipedia did for facts.
Not every question can be answered by simply referring to established truth. When it comes to questions of taste it really is a matter of opinion.
Beginning with entertainment, Ditto aims to capture global opinion about all the aspects of life where personal taste is paramount.
In place of an encyclopaedia entry that anyone can edit we offer lists that anyone can vote on and everyone should find useful.
We do this because we believe in better entertainment for all.
And because we like a good fight.
We hope you do too.”

I love the site my daughter showed it to be and got me started I showed two of my friends and they jumped on.
I did a little web page about 5 years ago asking all my friends what their top five all time movies were. and then just shared among us and there were surprising results. People that didn’t know each other well found they had similar tastes and became better friends.
This is so much better You need a few tweeks to the UI but I love it.
Here are suggestions for a couple new categories how about last five concerts I went to or best concerts I’ve ever been to
