  1. The best way to get to swing a lightsaber?

In the list of the best videogame weapons, the lightsaber has done predictably well, always in the top four - and normally leading the way!

So it’s particularly useful that RevOnline has created a Ditto list of  the Best Star Wars Games.  Is it better to spend £30 on a copy of Lego Star Wars, or do you need to invest a few hundred in an arcade machine? And is Star Wars 1: The Phantom Menace the worst Star Wars game ever, in line with the films?

On a more movie-related note…I’m pleasantly surprised to see I’m not the only one filling the list of the Best Swedish films ever.  Seeing as I’m trying to improve my Swedish all the time, it’s given me some other things to watch!

  2. Controversial choices on the Worst Videogames Ever

As a big videogame fan, I’ve been taking a keen interest in the Worst Games Ever list, started by FormableAxe.

Mainly because there are some quite surprising choices on there. Perfect Dark Zero wasn’t a great game, but the seventh worst videogame of all time? And the most played game on Xbox Live, and hugely popular Call of Duty 4 appears at 13?

Seeing surprising results is a big part of the fun of Ditto, but surely there must be some worse games we could be mocking? If you haven’t voted yet, go and share your gaming nightmares!

Or there’s always the Best Videogame Weapon ever!

  3. The best ever videogame lists

And by that, I don’t mean the best videogames ever - although that’s already on Ditto.

What I’m thinking about is the best list of videogames. For instance: Videogames where it’s more fun to be the bad guy, The worst ever movie tie-in games, or even the more worthy Xbox 360 games suitable for the under 6s.

There have to be better lists to be created. Best videogame scenes that look rude, best Japlish translations (Japanese to Engrish can be tricky), or best games which featured completely irrelevant celebrity endorsements, for example…

But there have to be loads more. Come on people, surprise me!

  4. Something a little different - the Rockstars of Web 2.0

We’re at the start of creating a list that’s a little bit different, and I’d really appreciate your help.

Bearing in mind all the talk about ’social networking’, ‘Web 2.0′ etc, we thought it’d be fun to rank the biggest celebrities and rockstars in the world of the internet. We’ve got a bit of a list together, but we really want more suggestions and comments on whether we’ve got the right people.

It’s all for fun, and keep checking here to see when the list is ready for YOUR votes to decide who really is the biggest, most glamorous rockstar in the geeky world of Web 2.0:

Rock Stars of Web2.0…in no particular order

  5. New face on the blog, and a new list on the way…

    Hello, I’m Dan.

I’ve been asked to come and join in more with the lovely Ditto team as I’ve stalked them from the other side of the company that is behind our employment.  And because, in addition to working with communities and forums, I’m also obsessive about videogames (Xbox 360), cult films, and obscure music (Ever heard of Varsity Drag?).

And I’m also helping out with some new lists and various other bits which will helpfully tie in with the ‘Former Editors Letter‘ , which not only explains Ditto, but also shows why i’m so excited to be involved!
